Aanuka Beach House, a stunning venue located just steps from the sand in Coffs Harbour, is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team. We offer a fresh, modern Australian menu and a relaxed beachside dining experience.
What we’re looking for:
An enthusiastic Chef with strong kitchen experience, creativity, and a love for coastal cuisine. You will work closely with the Head Chef to deliver consistent quality, manage kitchen operations, and maintain high food standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes across various sections of the kitchen
- Assist in planning menus, daily specials, and seasonal updates with a focus on fresh, local ingredients
- Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and OH&S standards in the kitchen
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to support a positive team culture
- Proven experience as a Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and lead by example
- Flexibility to work across weekends, evenings, and public holidays
